Home Oxygen Therapy

RTS has extensive experience and knowledge in providing home oxygen therapies to its clients. RTS carries the most up to date home oxygen equipment and always strives to provide the most appropriate home oxygen system to meet its client’s needs and lifestyle. Being on home oxygen therapy does not mean that you have to stay at home; RTS Respiratory Therapists evaluates its home oxygen clients for the system that best meets his or her mobility needs, from the smallest portable oxygen concentrators available, to systems that can fill oxygen cylinders at home.

Conditions where Home Oxygen Therapy may be appropriate:

• COPD – Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
• Pulmonary Fibrosis
• Cancers of the lung
• Heart conditions such as CHF – Congestive Heart Failure

RTS is an authorized provider for home oxygen therapy for the Special Assistance Program in Newfoundland & Labrador as well as for the Department of Health and Wellness Home Oxygen Program in Nova Scotia.

*Home oxygen therapy always requires a prescription from a medical doctor.
